Together at Rush Hour

Moon lit emptiness,
Silent sky,
Hours of loneliness,
too long to pass by...

Thoughts of the past,
times of cheer...
Unholy what we did last,
yet we need shed no tear...

Cause time is to blame,
its essence only fear...
To it just a game,
while we wait right here...

Right here where we began,
hopes, spirit, ambition, love...
Still here we stand,
no help from above....

To lash out at them,
no good, no end...
No use to condemn,
yet you i'll try to defend....

Cause we are but few,
in the rush left behind...
Cause you're a part of me too,
and in you solace I find....

For a friend....

the reason people play the blame game is because the present situation demands it.
every man..except the righteous strangles his conscience and lets his rationility define whos fault it was.... leading to a never ending weighing in of the faults of both people involved.

who does this poem reflect on...?
the person who stood by you or god for all his failure for giving a sorry excuse for living our lives
?

It's well written. However I believe that it's got something to do with a greater profound meaning which we are not able to comprehend.
